See ya!
As you all know that we went to Bali last month for some photo shoots and James & Hui-hui is one of the couples that we shot. We just known them a few months before the photo shoot and find out that they’re a very easy going & friendly couple, so the picture taking moment was really enjoyable to us. Although, on the first day it’s kinda awkward & stiff for both of them till we got to get James a beer just to relax him a bit before we continue for the photo session :p but since that beer thing, all the photo session were going smoothly
Btw, on the second day we found a very nice, comfy & chic cafe around the Seminyak area. The cafe is combination of a boutique and a coffee shop. The whole concept of this cafe is ‘vintage’. So from all of the clothing & accessories that they sell to the furniture in the cafe itself is vintage and one of a kind. I love that place so much and I’m sure James & Hui-hui too.. we took some pictures in there till the waitress told us that actually we’re not allowed to take picture.. Oopss.. but no worries, we have taken quite a lot :p So here are some of the engagement pictures for you to enjoy..
Hi all, we’ve just arrived from bali. We had a great eight days in bali , and so far it’s the longest period we’ve ever stayed in bali.As usual, the weather in bali during June – August would be affected a lot by winter in Australia, so it’s a bit chill in the evening and just a nice breeze in the day. Excepts for the cloudy, raining in some of the days (of photo shoot) and staying at the hotel that was not as comfortable as their advertisement (for the first three nites), i don’t have anything else to complain about.

trust me, I am slimmer and more friendly in person (second from left)
I always feel that somehow black and white pictures renders in a very special way. It gives out an aura that colours cannot replicate.. It gives a sense of classical, emotional, yet simple looks..
Joe and Kelly was a wedding that I took several shots with black and white, hoping that I could render their moments in a different way… and looking at the results, I’m quite pleased.
Their wedding was an exciting one, it was very different than any of the weddings I’ve known from where I come from. That day I learned alot about Singapore’s wedding culture and ceremonies.. I guess you do learn something new every day.. Cheers to Joe and Kelly that they have endured such a packed day and remain cheerful until the end of the day!
Despite the difference in culture and ceremonies, one thing I know for certain is the essence of marriage is all the same anywhere… It’s about the unity of two different people, but with their heart set for one new life…
We pray that their marriage will last a life time, and be filled with happiness and joy.
Oops.. don’t misunderstood! I give this title as the twins couple, not because joe & kelly are the twins who married each other (>.<). But because Joe is from identical twins family (he has an identical brother) and so does Kelly. In fact, each of their family has several sets of twins. Joe’s family has 3 sets of twins and Kelly’s family has 5 sets of twins. WOW!!! Until now I’m still guessing will their children be twins too? That would be so cute!!
Their feeling to each other started to bloom during the frequent meeting when Kelly was working in one of the well known bank in Singapore and Joe was one of her customers. Well, Joe must have been impressed by her sweet smile and bubbly personality. As Kelly must be touched by Joe’s warmth and tenderness. Before they eventually tie the knot, they dated for 6.5 years. Anyway, we’re so glad to have the opportunity to capture their special moments.
it’s not easy to choose which pictures to post in the blog cause each of them is gorgeous! But, finally I managed to pick some of those to let you guys have the imagination on what’s going on during their actual day. So, here we are..
